What Men Must Do
Dr. Larry Jones wants men to take up their God-given roles as leaders, in their personal lives, in the home as husbands and fathers, and in the community as role models. His book, What Men Must Do was written to help men to understand their value, and understand how their value can improve the lives of all they touch. Dr. Jones believes that improving the family must begin with the male because this is where the greatest value is lost. A man's lost value affects his self-esteem, his sense of purpose, his valued place in life, which is often undefined to him.

"Brilliantly written .... ahead of its time. What Men Must Do is the ultimate guide needed to help women to understand and men how to implement what is needed to bring the family back into focus. Relationship healing at its best."
- D. Baker, Atlanta, GA
Dr. Jones
Dr. Larry M Jones is a physician who has practiced Internal Medicine in Decatur and Atlanta Georgia as well as in Charlotte, North Carolina. He noticed early on in his practice that many people had spiritual and social ills that needed to be addressed prior to their acceptance of good health care. Dr. Jones discovered that his patients were more apt to be stabilized and handle long term illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension better once vital issues in their personal lives had been approached to their satisfaction.
Dr. Jones also began to hold counseling sessions with men using the stories now recorded in this book. He noted the heartfelt and spirited discussions that ensued. He observed that these frank discussions fostered the development of stronger friendships and more stable personal lives amongst men. It was from these sessions that the idea of What Men Must Do was born.
“Dr. Larry has offered us a way of transforming some of the treacherous relationships in the home and in the community. He has also offered us a way to develop healthy relationships in our families, in our friendships and in our work lives.”
- W. Harper, Seattle, Washington
